Sara Teresa Leon, a proud Oakland native, is deeply committed to uplifting her community, particularly its youth. She began her journey with the Mallory Gaston Foundation as a volunteer at the second Grit & Grace Event in San Francisco and has since become an integral part of the passionate team.
A dynamic professional, Sara excels in building relationships, fostering teamwork, and driving innovation. Her career spans teaching, project coordination, client relations, and compliance, reflecting her adaptability and commitment to meaningful outcomes. She holds an MBA with honors from the University of Phoenix, a BA in Liberal Studies with a Communications emphasis from San Francisco State University, and certifications in Property and Casualty Insurance, Gamaliel Leadership, Crossroads Tutorial, and CampusVue. She is currently pursuing paralegal studies.
Dedicated to creativity and advocacy, Sara has volunteered with ProArts Gallery, Joyce Gordon Gallery, and the Richard Leon Foundation. Her leadership, resourcefulness, and collaborative spirit make her a consistent force for positive change in both her professional and community endeavors.
